       Recently as per the Regulation 2014 of NCTE The West Bengal Government has proposed a two year uniform curriculum for B.ed Course in West Bengal under the supervision of WBUTTEPA (BSAEU). In this Curriculum there are One Method Paper in the 3rd Semester named - Pedagogy of School Subject. This Suggestion and Answer PDF is prepared according to the previous year questions of Baba Saheb Ambekar Education University. The questions-answers are based on very short, short and essay type. Hopefully this Suggestion and Answers of this method Subject help a lot to the student for their examination.

1. What is simulated teaching?


Ans: Simulated teaching is a design to replicate real situation as closely as desired, where students assume the roles of Teacher. As the simulation proceeds, students respond to change within the situation by studying the consequences of their decisions and subsequent actions.


2.  State two ways in which the language laboratory can be used to develop listening skill.


Ans: Language laboratory can be used to develop listening skill following ways- 

  • The students may work through the lesson material at a pace suited to their ability. The lab for them is a personal tutor.
  • It provides equal opportunity to all the students to hear the instructor irrespective of place. Where they ate seated and there is a direct transformation of information. 

3. Mention any two teaching-learning materials that can be used to develop vocabulary.

Ans: Teaching-learning materials that can be used to develop vocabulary are-
  • Audio Aids: Radio, tape recorder.
  • Audio-Visual Aids: Virtual Classroom, video recording, television.

4. Mention two uses of thesaurus. 

Ans: Two uses of thesaurus are-
  • Using a Thesaurus will help a learner stop repeating words.
  • Using Thesaurus improves vocabulary like synonyms and antonyms.
