1. What is meant by 'Instructional Objectives'?
Instructional objectives are specific categories of learning behaviors. They are methodologically essential to help construct appropriate learning experiences for students. A variety of instructional skills are present. Some of these skills include techniques such as questioning, discussing, directing, explaining, demonstrating, etc. Again this includes planning, organization, lighting management.
2. What do you mean by 'Probing Question'?
Usually the questions that the teacher asks in the classroom are taken from a particular unit and are expected to be answered correctly. These questions are usually of familiar pattern. Here the cognitive connections of the students are very controlled. Sometimes the same question carries different meanings and answers. These are called divergent questions. These types of questions help to develop creativity in students, develop thinking process, select correct and reliable answer from various types of answers. Although the important role of such questions is present, these questions are not usually provided in the classroom. The teacher usually asks questions combining searching skills with familiar style questions. Answering such questions arouses students' curiosity. Logic and intelligence develop in them.
3. What is 'Micro Teaching'?
Micro teaching is a teacher training technique where a teacher practices teaching skills in a simplified, controlled environment. It involves teaching a small lesson to a small group for a short duration, followed by feedback and reflection. This process helps improve specific teaching skills through repetition, observation, and evaluation.
4. What is 'Role Playing'?
Role playing is a teaching strategy where learners act out roles in simulated situations to explore real-life scenarios. It encourages active participation, empathy, and problem-solving by allowing students to experience different perspectives. This method enhances communication, critical thinking, and social skills in an interactive and engaging learning environment.
5. What do you mean by 'Pre-service Teacher Education'?
Pre-service training refers to the provision of training to students-teachers prior to entry into work. All those student-teachers who come with some degree of general education and who in the future. Those who wish to enter the teaching profession are provided with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes through pre-service training so that they can effectively and efficiently zone education. A student completes the education to participate in DIET for two years of training and on successful completion of the training gets certificated. Again a graduate or post graduate can join any CTE or training college for BEd course. A very few institutes again offer admission to four-year aided teacher-training and general education courses after 10+2 level. Some people get admission in MBA course after completing the kit field. Apart from this, there are special children BEd (Special Education), DEd (Special Education), DPEd, MPEd musical education), BEd (Hindi) and Certificate in Preparatory Teachers Training.
